Our Constitution is more than 60 years old and going by the words of intelligent people it is said that, “Our Constitution has served its purpose, inspite of all difficulties, quite well”. But I disagree to it and have very deep concerns associated with it, which I would bring to the fore in this article. (although only in limited sense)
Let us start with the very purpose of our Constitution and let us see whether our very honoured Constitution has served its purpose. The purpose of our Constitution was to provide to the people of India an environment where they can feel themselves secure in the hands of a government which is responsible enough to provide its citizen just, right and virtuous legal system, opportunities, aplomb, equality in treatment, fair chance to participate and liberty to explore.

There has been so much talk related to women empowerment, Gender Budgeting, Women Reservation and so on. But at the basis of all these discussions is Right to Freedom. Initially we have to understand whether our society is able to provide this fundamental right to women. And, if it is able to do so then of what degree?
To start with, we can observe the upholders of the dignity of society. These selected few have been the moral and social police for long. The object most frequently under their scanner have been women whom they mostly revere to as Goddess. Some of the most frequent terms associated to this creed have been Obscenity, Nudity, Trafficking, Dowry, Foeticide, Purdah, Prostitution etc., etc.

2. ज्यामिति और ठोस ज्यामिति
आर्यभट ने sine के मानो की एक पूरी सूची दी जिसमे कि sine के सभी मान 90°/24 = 3° 45′ के अन्तराल पर दिये गये है| इसकी गणना के लिये उन्होने sin(n+1)x – sin nx का sin nx और sin (n-1)x के पदो मे एक सूत्र का प्रयोग किया| उन्होने versine (versin = 1 – cosine) को भी ज्यामिति मे शामिल किया|

आर्यभट को उनके 400 वर्षों पश्चात एक अन्य आर्यभट से अलग करने के लिये आर्यभट प्रथम के नाम से जाना जाता है| हांलाकि अल्-बरूनी ने उनके बारे मे भ्रम पैदा किया कि एक ही समय पर दो आर्यभट थे| परन्तु 1926 मे बी दत्ता ने यह भ्रम दूर किया और यह बताया कि अल्-बरूनी के दोनो आर्यभट एक ही व्यक्ति थे|
